Aliens’ Hospitalization Insurance

Special Insurance Coverage for Non-European Residents and Visitors in Cyprus

HYDRA Insurance offers two plans: Plan A providing for both in-patient and out-patient treatment and Plan B providing cover only for in-patient treatment

Plan A

  1. In-patient treatment:
    1. Maximum amount per Illness or Accident–€8.600
    2. Maximum amount per Period of Insurance and per person–€14.000
    3. Daily room and board expenses (room and food) per day–€70
    4. Daily room and board expenses (room and food) of the Insured. Person in an intensive unit per day– €180
  2. Out-patient treatment
    1. Maximum amount per Illness or Accident–€8.600
    2. Maximum amount per Period of Insurance and per person–€14.000
    3. Maximum amount per doctor visit–€20
  3. The Benefits are payable provided that: €600
    1. The delivery occurs 10 months after the date of the commencement of the Policy or the date on which the Insured Person was included in the Policy.
    2. In case of termination of employment of the Insured Person, provided that the pregnancy started within the period that the person was insured, subject always to condition (1)
  4. Cover for the repatriation of the mortal remains up to–€3.500

  5. Cover percentage: 90% (10% will be borne by the Policyholder)

Plan B

  1. In-patient treatment:
    1. Maximum amount per Illness or Accident–€8.600
    2. Maximum amount per Period of Insurance and per person–€14.000
    3. Daily room and board expenses (room and food) per day–€70
    4. Daily room and board expenses (room and food) of the Insured. Person in an intensive unit per day– €180
  2. Out-patient treatment
    1. Maximum amount per Illness or Accident–N/A
    2. Maximum amount per Period of Insurance and per person–N/A
    3. Maximum amount per doctor visit–N/A
  3. The Benefits are payable provided that: €600
    1. The delivery occurs 10 months after the date of the commencement of the Policy or the date on which the Insured Person was included in the Policy.
